It has been a long time since our last official product release, and surely you don’t need much explanation as to the cause. So let’s look at what we have prepared for you for the very near future; very near. We have two products up for pre-order. Both products will be released in Shanghai Toy Show on Nov. 6th in Shanghai, so yes, we are not waiting for your orders before we start production; we don’t do that. We are taking pre-orders due to shipping process. All the pre-orders gathered will be shipped out together first to Hong Kong, and then ship out to the rest of the world. It will be a two-stops shipment. This is to save you on shipping fees. So, with that explained, let’s see what we got.
First we have collaborated with Malaysian artist, LAO WANG, on his LAOWANG1102 vinyl figure. adFunture did not produce this product; LAO WANG was already in the midst of his own production when we met him. And no, we don’t have to produce everything that we love or appreciate, so we decided to collaborate with him in terms of exhibition and special variant. We pulled our apparel wing, VEIL, into this project. VEIL released a range of apparel with LAO WANG, and also got a special edition figure in the pack. adFunture is merely the exclusive retailer of this figure. It all works out great. Everybody is happy, and we hope this figure brings joy to you at this special time as well.
Blue being VEIL’s new brand color; it is only fitting we kick things off with a blue biker jacket colorway. WANGMOJI graphic hits added the fun factor into this very urban figure era piece. You gotta admit, those black/yellow Force1s look good too.
Then we have the long-awaited second drop from CLOGTWO’s MECHASOUL Collection. Titled the PSYCHO-CHIMP, this is a play on the vintage musical monkey toy, and CLOGTWO’s mechanical details fitted perfectly onto this character. Beautifully sculpted by Minishi Studios. With this initial edition, we decided to stick to its vintage colorway. We have been sitting on this for many months, we were waiting for “the next toy show”, and finally we have reached STS. We look forward to shipping this mad chimp out into the world.
